About Arthrogryposis
Arthrogryposis is a condition where a baby is born with stiff joints and muscles that make it hard to move certain parts of their body. This usually happens because the joints didn't move properly while the baby was developing in the womb. It can affect just a few joints or many, like the arms, legs, hands, or feet.
People with Arthrogryposis may need physical therapy, braces, or surgeries to improve movement and make daily tasks easier. It's not a disease you can catch, and it doesn't get worse over time. With the right care, most people with this condition can learn ways to adapt and lead active lives.
